The Brucellosis International Research Conference, including the 77th Annual Brucellosis Research Conference, will be held in San José, Costa Rica, from November 4th to 7th, 2025.
This multidisciplinary gathering brings together a global community of researchers, scientists, and policymakers to tackle the significant public health challenge of brucellosis. This bacterial disease affects both humans and animals, particularly in developing countries.
Explore the latest breakthroughs in brucellosis research with us, covering key areas such as basic biology and omics, immunology and pathogenesis, host-pathogen interactions and disease mechanisms, epidemiology, vaccination, and diagnostics, molecular and cellular microbiology, and wildlife and emerging hosts.
Hosted by the Universidad Nacional (UNA) and the Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR), in collaboration with Costa Rica Convention Bureau. This conference will highlight the global impact of brucellosis and foster international collaboration.
Connect with a vibrant audience including graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, faculty members, and government representatives. English-Spanish translation service will be available during the conference.
Scientific presentations will take place from Tuesday to Friday, with half-day sessions dedicated to different research topics. Each session will have its own poster session. Registration will begin on Tuesday morning.
